Dora Moore Black and WhiteMessing with my old Leica V-Lux 20 on the way to the grocery store. I’ve always been unimpressed with it as a camera but this week I thought I’d try it in black and white mode and limit it to 1920×1080. I should go back to doing photography this way. I’m not big on color or huge file sizes. The sun was getting low. The rain was moving in. Nobody was wandering the neighborhood and it looks like this could be a much older photograph. I’m happy with this. The “No Stopping” sign is both a distraction and an attraction to the front door, but the image isn’t about the front door, it’s more about a slumbering giant on an ordinary afternoon in the spring.
